I am the same way. I usually anticipate a project and then when I finally do it (usually at the last minute), I do it really well. After repeating this pattern over many, many years, I wondered if I do THIS well at last-minute work, I wonder how I'd do if I started earlier? And if I'm just going to fret about it until I get it done, why not get it done sooner?

I think you're right, though. It all comes down to confidence. If I don't believe in what I am writing or don't have a clear point of view, I put it off until I'm forced to develop a clear point of view.

Great post!

Hi, Stephanie. Nice post. Someone once told me that success is when skill and opportunity meet. So, yeah, luck is important, because it's part of the opportunity. And you have to be able to see and take advantage of those opportunities. Thanks for posting.

It's unfortunate that the North American culture doesn't believe in good luck the way Chinese society does. It's a powerful think when a collective believe in something. As you said, it create an environment that's receptive to that thing, that's open and ready for it to come.

Welcome to the world of blogging, hope we see more of you!
