Alas, I DO think that slaying each dragon is about "upping your dragon slaying skills" so that you can move onto the next, larger dragon. It is perpetual. Every dragon gives you more bravery along with the necessary vulnerability to attract the next challenge.

I think of Xena -- excuse my Geek but she's a great mythological, hero's journey character. Every season, there was another Giant Evil that she had to come over, until the end season when she finally met her match and even then she did nothing but learn from it.

Heather , If I were to go slay a dragon ,You are someone I would want on my side. I don't care how brave you are really because my dear friend I am learning from your Vulnerability. When I think of all the things you have done ,its wonderful , says you are living , but its your warmness and vulnerability that gives me the courage to think about my own fears.Maybe slaying dragons is a life time journey, at least you are not standing still and you are striving to face your own truths and that I find wonderfully brave and that is a girl scout patch you can wear proudly.
